ReVital Pellet Therapy2021-02-03T10:56:50-05:00

Never Miss A Dose With Our Advanced Bio Pellet Therapy

Female bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) can take the form of patches, creams, pills or pellets – in our case, we utilize pellets.

  • Never Miss A Dose

  • Controlled Treatment Release

  • Naturally Absorbed By The Body

  • Removal Not Needed

  • Ongoing Treatment Monitoring And Care

Prior to treating you, we perform lab work in order to gather information on your current hormone levels and any underlying health issues that could prevent the start of therapy. Using this data, our physicians create the correct balance between the testosterone and estrogen pellets and the progesterone they prescribe for you – this process is unique to each patient and their lab work.

After your initial pellets are inserted, blood work is performed regularly so that we can continue to analyze your status and make sure the pellets are working as they should be as well as your dosage being ideal.

How To Start

Start by simply selecting a time that works for you using our online booking request or you may contact our office directly to speak with a treatment coordinator. Our initial consultations are always complimentary.

How will I be monitored while I use bioidentical hormone pellets?2020-08-25T12:34:21-05:00

Do you remove the pellet after a specific time period?2020-08-25T12:33:58-05:00

One of the many reasons pellet therapy for BHRT is so great is because the pellets are absorbed naturally by the body over a period of 4-6 months which makes us not have to remove them.

Why haven’t I heard of pellet therapy for BHRT before?2020-08-25T12:33:37-05:00

Even though pellet therapy has been in use since the 1930s, many have not heard of the treatment because pellets cannot be patented and marketed by pharmaceutical companies, therefore, they are made to be bioidentical through compounding pharmacies.

How are pellets inserted?2020-08-25T12:33:18-05:00

Pellets are inserted in the upper buttocks through a tiny incision which is made by a licensed medical professional and it is then covered with a steri-strip to ensure proper healing. Local anesthesia is used prior to insertion so that we’re sure you’ll feel almost nothing at all during the brief procedure other than perhaps a little pressure when the pellets are inserted through the trocar. Other than some bruising and possibly some minor discomfort afterward, there are very rarely any complications from this simple procedure. After insertion, we suggest that you avoid strenuous physical activity for 24-48 hours and refrain from swimming or soaking in the bathtub for at least 3-5 days. We are always here as providers if you have any more questions.

What are female BHRT pellets?2020-08-25T12:32:40-05:00

Female BHRT pellets are comprised of custom-compounded hormones created specifically from the provider’s recommended dose by a compounding pharmacy. These pellets are inserted subcutaneously during a quick in-office visit in the upper buttock area. Within seven to 10 days after your pellet insertion, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for a woman’s endocrine system begins to take effect.

My body starting changing in my 30s and I just didn’t have the same level of energy I used to have five years ago. I went to ReVital and discovered that my hormone levels were all over the place. Now, three months in, I’m back, reenergized, and doing the things I love.

Do You Experience Symptoms of Hormonal Imbalance?

A woman’s hormone imbalance can increase the risk of health problems such as osteoporosis, blood clots and heart disease. And, while a healthy lifestyle can slow down the decline of hormone levels, the natural process of aging will eventually cause hormone imbalance in all women at some point in their lives.
