Men who take testosterone products, and not properly monitored by a physician, will experience testicular shrinkage . . . or deflation. Testicles will shrink when the internal feedback loop (or Equipment Manager) tells the body there is enough testosterone in the blood and shuts the testicles down. This shutting down of the testicular function will cause not only shrinkage of the testicles but also decreased natural (endogenous) testosterone production. This internal feedback loop regulates the hormone levels and adjusts all hormones to the appropriate level. Adding testosterone inappropriately or not monitoring it can cause this deflation.
