3 Supplements That Naturally Increase Testosterone

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is an exceptional treatment solution for men with clinically low testosterone. There are also at least three natural supplements that can boost testosterone production. Toss these bad boys into your daily diet and enjoy the benefits of more testosterone.

Omega-3 Fish Oil

Research shows that fish oil naturally reduces SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) while increasing Luteinizing hormone production. (Source) The Luteinizing hormone creates a natural response in your testes to increase testosterone production. Fish oil can also help reduce your LDL cholesterol (“bad” cholesterol).

Caffeine

In the right moderated dosage, caffeine can be an excellent supplement to increase testosterone. Too much caffeine causes elevated levels of cortisol, which actually decreases testosterone production. One study has shown that consuming caffeine before exercising can actually increase your testosterone while maximizing your exercise’s effect. (NCBI)

Vitamin D3

This is a misleading addition because Vitamin D3 isn’t a supplement- it’s actually a hormone. Our bodies naturally create Vitamin D from exposure to the sun, which may naturally increase testosterone production. However, many Westerners are spending less time outside, meaning we’re experiencing less production of Vitamin D.  Studies show that men who take a Vitamin D3 supplement also receive a natural boost in testosterone production. (NCBI)
